Anothe from Taste of Home Almost Homemade. I have to say this is one of my favorite cookbooks. I purchased this at the kids book fair and we love it. Everything I've made from here has been great and the family loves it.
Meatball Pizza Subs
1 1/3 cups pizza sauce
4 submarine bunes, split and toasted (I use hoggie buns, toast in toster)
1 1/3 cups shredded mozzarella cheese
20 slices pepperoni (my kids like pepperoni's so I use more)
1 package frozen fully cooked italian meatballs, thawed
Italian seasoning to taste
Spread 1/3 cup pizza sauce on the bottom of each bun. Top each with 1/3 cup cheese, five slices (or more) of pepperoni and 3 meatballs (I use 4) My hubby says the buns is 4 bites and 3 meatballs isn't enough. Sprinkle with Italian seasoning. Replace tops.
Wrap each sandwhich in foil. Bake at 400degrees for 10-15 min our until heated through.
I've also made these with just pepperoni's and it's tastes just as good.
